Comments: Organization creates giant rainbows for kids. Program is designed to educate kids in an area of science and to encourage kids who have major illnesses such as cancer. Organization uses water vapor and the correct placement of the vapor relative to the sun to create the artificial rainbows. The program will be headquartered in Las Cruces, NM, but activities will take place around the world.

Comments: The organization is dedicated to providing the underprivileged kids from Garfield County, CO with Kindles. These kids, between 1st and 12th grade, will come from low-income families and receive free lunch at school. Our organization will provide those kids with Kindles for free.
Comments: Organization will provide clothes and free canned food and supplies to homeless and less-fortunate individuals in College Park, MD once a month (every 3rd Saturday of the month). These individuals live in extreme poverty and they cannot afford buying basic needs items. The organization expects to support approximately 100 individuals per month.

Our primary focus will be to provide kids with educational materials that will support them in the educational process. Hundreds of kids will benefit from this program. The Program will take place in Sacramento County, CA.
Comments: The purpose of this program is to provide support to under-privileged kids (girls, ages 15-18), coming from orphanages to succeed in school. The activity will take place in the remote areas of Nicaragua and Argentina, where many of the kids, who live in orphanages, have to share books, desks and other educational materials and equipment. The board of directors will visit these countries once a year to monitor the Program.
Comments: The organization will provide financial assistance to low income and military families of San Diego County, CA. Our organization will be providing funds to pay for their children’s daycare. Childcare services often get too expensive for struggling families, and both parents need to work their jobs to make a living for the whole family.
Comments: The program will encourage physical exercise and good citizenship for boys, ages 5-12. Activities will include instruction and practice that get youth active in order to encourage physical fitness and self-discipline. Each year approximately 325 boys will participate in the football program, divided into 18 teams. This activity will be conducted through year round in Montgomery County, TX.
Comments: The organization is dedicated to providing support, guidance and resources to the DC Metropolitan area’s kids that are growing up in and aging out of foster system. Each year approximately 100-120 kids are aging out of the foster system. The organization will work with these kids 2 days a week, applying a different interactive approach. Some of the workshops will cover the following subjects: Emotional Support; Financial Security; Educational Attainment; Community Connection, etc.
Comments: Alternative yoga classes will be provided to individuals who have medical problems. The organization will provide adaptive yoga classes, helping individuals overcome symptoms of Parkinson’s, neurological diseases, diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis, chronic pain, etc. The classes will be executed in Portland, OR.
Comments: The program will encourage healthy lifestyle for kids through physical exercise and healthy eating in an effort to reduce childhood obesity. Activities will include instruction in healthy eating and exercise that get youth active in order to combat obesity and encourage them to be self-disciplined. The exercises will take place in local parks and walking trails in Fayette and Clayton County, GA.
Comments: Organization’s mission is to help kids understand the process of thinking by providing an educational tool to the teachers. The organization will produce a CD, a 7-day program, which will consist of meditation exercises on how the kids can become responsible for their own behavior and to understand the thinking mind. The program is to be administered from Los Angeles County, CA.
Comments: The organization is dedicated to educating and promoting the theatrical art among the youth of Arapahoe County, CO, keeping them out of the streets. The Board of Directors of the Organization will organize charity events, such as developing and producing theater plays to benefit the community.
Comments: Organization teaches youths on valuable life skills, spiritual aspects of God and the discipline of Go Kart racing. Organization combines the three areas to teach youths. Approximately 10 girls and boys will take part in the program. The organization will share its teachings with the youths at the go kart race tracks and at churches, as the organization will visit churches throughout the state of California and do speeches on biblical studies.

Comments: Organization will have weekly workshops for retired and disabled law enforcerment officers. Workshops will focus on using alternative medical treatments to improve the law enforcers' health. These illnesses or discomforts may be physical, emotional, mental, etc. Some of the officers may be suffering from chronic pain or illnesses and not getting the benefit of traditional medicines and treatments. The organization will also update the participants on new legislation and government regulations affecting alternative medical and health treatments.
Comments: Program will take place in Sacramento, CA. The organization will set up a computer center with approximately 8 computers in a less fortunate neighborhood where residents often do not have access to a computer. Computers will be free to use for the public. Computers are available to help less fortunate kids to become more comfortable with the computer, explore the uses of the computer and to complete school assignments. |
