Comments: The organization will teach ballet and contemporary dance to less fortunate individuals who usually cannot afford to learn such arts. The classes will take place in Hawaii and the students will be taught some of the basics and intermediates of ballet and contemporary techniques. Classes will be held in the evenings and a small participation fee will be charged. Individuals who cannot afford to pay will be allowed to participate free of charge.
Comments: The purpose of the organization is to promote cycling as a healthy, alternative lifestyle for both recreation and transportation. The organization will support charities which target youth in Boston, MA area. The organization will fund projects that will bring benefits to youth of the community, such as: helping the kids to learn the importance of being physically active and eating well, promoting cycling as a healthy lifestyle.

Comments: Organization will take kids on educational trips to museums, colleges, and libraries. Program is for girls and boys of ages 5-18. Kids will be provided with guidance for living a productive and meaningful life. This organization focuses on mentoring and tutoring in all the academic disciplines, including math, English, social studies and science.
Comments: The organization will provide funds to PreK-12 private schools for academic scholarships to students in the US. Funds will be granted to several private schools per year. Scholarships average $1,500 per year per student for 10 students each year.

The homeless individuals cannot afford to pay for the services and our organization will provide the services free of charge. The organization expects to assist 40 individuals on a quarterly basis.
Comments: The organization will encourage homeless individuals to learn how to choose and apply values with confidence as they learn to enhance relationships with family, friends, and community. The organization will hold once a month workshops at a homeless shelter. The workshops will include: goal setting; discussing one’s true being; the sharing of one’s past and current life experiences; focusing on the positive, etc. The organizaiton anticipates approximately 35-50 homeless individuals to attend each workshop. The mentoring workshop program’s members will be given the opportunity to share their problems and seek support in each other. The goal is for the participants to experience companionship and teamwork, so that everyone feels each other’s support. |
