Comments: The organization will offer tutoring services in math, science, English, social studies, etc, as well as mentoring sessions. During the mentoring sessions, the emphasis is on the importance of education, career opportunities, attaining goals and staying drug and alcohol free. Organization will be using space donated by local churches and schools.
Comments: This organization is a no-kill rescue made up of community volunteers dedicated to saving pets, primarily cats. However, the organization do save other animals as well, including horses, dogs, rabbits, etc.) whose lives are in jeopardy. The animals come from off the streets and unwanted homes and are cared for both emotionally and physically by the organization and its volunteers.

The homeless individuals cannot afford to pay for the services and our organization will provide the services free of charge. The organization expects to assist 40 individuals on a quarterly basis.
Comments: The organization will encourage homeless individuals to learn how to choose and apply values with confidence as they learn to enhance relationships with family, friends, and community. The organization will hold once a month workshops at a homeless shelter. The workshops will include: goal setting; discussing one’s true being; the sharing of one’s past and current life experiences; focusing on the positive, etc. The organizaiton anticipates approximately 35-50 homeless individuals to attend each workshop. The mentoring workshop program’s members will be given the opportunity to share their problems and seek support in each other. The goal is for the participants to experience companionship and teamwork, so that everyone feels each other’s support.
Comments: The organization will provide financial assistance to low/no income individuals residing in Marion County, Alabama and its surrounding areas. The organization will be providing funds to partially pay the individual’s medical, mortgage or utilities bills, based on the need. Each applying individual must show proof of low-income and behind on his/her bills and provide us an explanation as to why he/she is behind. The goal is to help approximately 2 individuals a month paying on average $250 per household. If funds permit, the organization will assist more families.
Comments: This program is designed to promote a network for parents of children with challenges and fostering a climate of mutual respect, encouraging acceptance and inclusion of children with challenges. The organization will provide welcoming environment for the parents to share and discuss their concerns by monthly workshops. Some of the subjects of the workshops will be: Diagnosis – specific issues and learning; special Education Law and parental rights; social and emotional impact on learning; etc.
Comments: The program will encourage physical exercise and good citizenship for children and their parents, residing in Miami Dade County, FL. Activities will include instruction and practice in soccer that get kids and their parents active in order to encourage physical fitness and self-discipline. The organization will utilize the program as a tool for social change, teaching the sport of soccer and educating the community on a different way to overcome difficulties. The organization expects approximately 60 kids and 45 adults to participate, practicing 5 days per week.
Comments: The organization’s mission is to educate and provide technical support for broadcasting radio and television clubs in Detroit Metropolitan Area, Michigan. Our targets are students, who have passion for athletic and sports broadcasting. The students will have a chance to gain experience in the broadcasting area and learn the specifics of the profession. The organization expects approximately 20 students to take part in each School Broadcast Club. The organization plans on providing on-job-training, e.g. the Board of Directors will go directly to the schools and educate the students on how to broadcast, right before the broadcasting program goes live.
Comments: An organization will provide food to less-fortunate individuals at homeless shelters in Alameda and St. Claire Counties, CA. The goal is to help at least 100 people once in 2 months. No fees will be charged to the less fortunate individuals. The food will be distributed and given away to them at no cost. The organization will either provide the food directly to the homeless shelters or provide funds to other approved 501c3 organizations, which main purpose is to relieve poverty and hunger.
Comments: The organization will provide marital counseling to the community in Cobb County, GA and surrounding areas. The services will primarily include group sessions with both partners or/ and individual sessions with one of the partners. Each session will last approximately 1.5 hours. The organization will provide support 3 couples per month. A small counseling fee will be charged to offset the cost of the program. The organization will also provide pre-marriage counseling; intra-marriage and post-marriage counseling services.
Comments: A CA organization will operate as a thrift store. The organization will collect clothing, food and other non-food items (appliances, furniture, etc.) through donations. The clothing will be primarily clothing for kids and adults. All of the donated items will be sold to individuals, targeted as less-fortunate individuals who cannot afford to purchase the items and to other thrift stores. The goal is not to make a profit, but to be able to support the less-fortunate individuals.
Comments: A Georgia organization will assist young men, who are ex-offenders, to get their life back on track. The organization will provide counseling services to young men, who are ex-offenders and discuss the following topics: life-skills that will help them to become successful and productive members of the society; how to stay out of trouble and avoid domestic violence, etc. The organization will also emphasize the importance of education and staying drug and alcohol free.
Comments: The organization’s mission is to provide Gospel and spiritual music to foster the rich heritage of African-American music in the low country, regionally and nationally. The choir will perform a diverse repertoire of Gospel and spiritual music to the highest musical standards. The organization will consist of approximately 85 volunteers, who promote Gospel music among the community of Charleston, SC. The organization plans on having 10 concerts per year, of which half of them will free of charge to attendees. Some of the concerts will be together with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra.

The organization will concentrate on charities, managing projects that will bring benefits to the needy of the community, such as: providing supplies, feeding the less-fortunate individuals, etc. The Board of Directors, lead by the President of the organization, will decide on which 501c3 approved organizations, benefiting less-fortunate individuals will receive funding from the organization.
Comments: The organization will provide a shelter for homeless veterans and the less fortunate elderly of San Bernardino, CA and its surrounding areas. These individuals usually are in need of food, clean clothes, shower and a place to sleep. The organization will maintain an 8 bedroom house and will provide to the residents a place to stay; food and basic necessities, as well as resource services. Each individual will be granted an opportunity to stay up to 24 months.
Comments: The organization plans on organizing a Start-up Weekend seminar. The Program is specifically designed to educate the individuals, residing in Northeast Florida on the need and benefits of entrepreneurship, and to inspire the next generation of founders. Local business owners and entrepreneurs will be invited to come and share their best practices. It will be a 3-day event and approximately 100-120 individuals will attend, of which approximately 1/3 will be students.

The organization will show the individuals different aspects of a business, and how to successfully operate it.
