Support to Foster Youth

Comments:

The purpose of the organization is to support emancipated youth aging out of the foster care system. The goal is to house and guide emancipated youth through the process of psychological health recovery to a place of empowerment and independence. The organization will help our participants by providing shelter, counseling, food, clothing, job seeking assistance and residential referral support for up to 3 years after admittance into the program.


Visual Arts Education

The purpose of the organization is to foster excellence, diversity and vitality of the visual arts in Northwest Florida. The organization serves as the hub of cultural education and revitalization in the community. They offer art exhibits and information to educate individuals about various forms of visual art. They also provide classes and workshops to educate individuals about different techniques and help them build on their own skills as artists.

 


Boys Lacrosse Program

Comments:

The purpose of the organization is to promote physical activity and the sport of lacrosse. This program will provide a travel lacrosse team for the boys of Austin, TX. It will encourage physical exercise, teamwork, self-discipline and good sportsmanship for boys, ages 6-18. Activities will focus on lacrosse instruction, practice and competition with other teams.


Wildlife Care Education

The purpose of the organization is to promote proper practices in the care of wildlife, humanity and nature to raise the standard of care in wildlife medicine and rehabilitation. The organization will provide educational training, consulting services and opportunities to help organizations and businesses raise their standard of care in wildlife medicine and rehabilitation. They will also offer transportation services for wounded wildlife, an education network and a collaborative research initiative in wildlife care.


Vocational Education School

The purpose of the organization is to educate and train future professionals. This program will provide exceptional vocational educational training to individuals in Wichita, KS. The organization will provide education and training in various vocations, including carpentry, welding, plumbing and culinary arts, as well as GED certification. The school plans to enroll approximately 100 students in the first year and 100 in each of the following years.


Discipleship Training Program

Comments:

The purpose of the organization is to train Christian disciples to go and preach the Gospel to Muslim people throughout the world. The organization will provide educational discipleship training to anyone who wants to develop their abilities. They will provide in-depth discipleship training sessions every three months (4 times per year). They expect approximately 40 people to participate in the program throughout the year.

 


Orphanage in Nigeria

Comments:

The purpose of the organization is to care for orphans. This program will help build and maintain an orphanage for orphans and needy youth in Nigeria. They will build and furnish a facility where program participants will live. The facility will provide refuge and care to orphaned and needy children of Keffi, Nigeria, ages 18 and younger.


Therapy and Treatment Program

The purpose of the organization is to provide therapeutic recreation and treatment services to youth in need. They will provide counseling and treatment in a safe, stable environment for youth who have been abused or suffer from emotional and mental disorders.The organization will work with program participants to help them address and overcome problems through one-on-one and group counseling. Program participants will include youth in the greater Houston, TX area, both male and female, approximately ages 18 and younger.


Assistance for Underprivileged

The purpose of the organization is to support low-income individuals with chronic illness and serious medical conditions. This program provides financial assistance to low-income individuals to help them pay for medical expenses. Individuals who will benefit from this organization are low-income individuals in the greater Los Angeles area who have expensive medical bills due to chronic illness and severe medical conditions.

 

 


Addiction Rehabilitation

Comments:

The purpose of the organization is to rehabilitate individuals with addition issues including substance and drug abuse, gambling, sex additions, and misappropriations of funds. The organization will operate a facility where individuals suffering from addiction can go to receive treatment, counseling and rehabilitation for their specific afflictions. Trained counselors will work with program participants to help them address and overcome a variety of addictions through one-on-one and group counseling as well as intensive medical intervention when necessary.  


Safe Drinking Water Program

The purpose of the organization is to combat dehydration and malnutrition by delivering free safe drinking water and advanced multi-nutrient supplements to children and women around the world. The organization will purchase the required items and distribute them to those in need. They will distribute drinking water and nutritional supplements to individuals in donated spaces like churches and community centers in underserved countries around the world.


Community Restoration

The purpose of the organization is to preserve history and revitalize communities through artistic engagement. Once restored, these facilities will be fully functional spaces serving as a hub for artistic activity including musical concerts and theatrical performances. This activity will spur economic development in and around the community through cultural proliferation and engagement. The goal is to ultimately bring light into forgotten spaces, therefore bringing hope and activity again to the community.


Prison Outreach Program

Comments:

The purpose of the organization is to make a positive impact on communities across the nation. The program will utilize professional athletes and entertainers to speak in educational and motivational assemblies at prisons and jails throughout the US. Speakers will discuss character development and self-improvement topics relevant to the inmate population, including: importance of self-responsibility and respect, the power of choices, and accomplishing dreams and goals. They initially plan to provide this program at more than 80 prisons in our first year. Thousands of inmates will benefit from this program each year.


Robotics Workshop Program

Comments:

The purpose of the organization is to educate and train youth to build robots for competitions while developing important life skills. It will provide regularly scheduled educational workshops that focus on teaching participants to build robots for robotics competitions. The organization will teach specific skills including Solidworks, Java, electrical, pneumatics, machining, welding, troubleshooting, etc. Program participants will also develop important skills such as ability to meet deadlines, organizational skills, business plans and structures, billing and budgeting, advertising and promotion, confidence and leadership qualities.

 


Kongiganak Cultural Education

Comments:

The purpose of the organization is to promote health and cultural education throughout the community. The organization will have one large annual event that will focus on such things as cultural, seasonal and traditional aspects of Kongiganak heritage. At the event, the organization will provide performing arts, indigenous foods, dancing and musical performances. The event will take place in Kongiganak, AK. They expect approximately 600 people come to attend each event.


Church Services

Comments:

The purpose of the organization is to help people build a relationship with God and to provide a place where people of different races, colors, ages and social-economic background can come to worship. Every Saturday evening and Sunday morning, the organization will hold traditional church services within the Catholic Christian faith. The weekly services will include encouraging Christian messages by the Archbishop, along with music and singing. The church expects have on average 50 regularly attending members.


501c3 Sponsorship Program

The purpose of this organization is to financially sponsor other 501c3 organizations, specifically those that support women’s rights, education, animal welfare, humanitarian outreach, religion and general charity for needy individuals. They expect to donate to approximately 5 organizations per year. The organization plans to donate approximately $5,000-$10,000 per year.


Christian School

The organization is to provide independent schooling to youth of Polk County, FL. The program is an independent, Christian school that teaches 4th through 12th grade students. They expect approximately 20 students to enroll the first year. The number of program participants is expected to increase each year.  


Youth Baseball Program

The purpose of the organization is to promote physical activity and the sport of baseball. This program will provide a travel baseball team for the youth of Houston, TX. The program will encourage physical exercise, teamwork, self-discipline and good sportsmanship for boys, ages 11-18. Activities will focus on baseball instruction, practice and competition with other teams. 

 


Community Food Program

Comments:

The purpose of the organization is to feed the underprivileged people of the community by providing a sustainable farm program to grow and produce food. The organization will operate a farm in South Carolina where they will produce food through agriculture, aquaponics, raising livestock and fisheries. They will take the fruits, vegetables and meat they produce to local food banks, community markets and churches where they will be dispersed to people in need throughout the community. They expect to provide food to more than 200 people per year. Food will be provided to individuals on a first-come, first-served basis.
