Feeding the Homeless

Comments:

Our organization is dedicated to providing food to those individuals, who live in  extreme poverty and cannot allow buying basic items. Our purpose is to make their life better and comfortable. The food will be distributed to homeless shelters, parks and other places in Washington, DC. The Board of Directors will also visit homeless shelters and transitional houses, especially for women, in Upper Marlboro, MD to provide the less-fortunate women with food and items of first necessity.


Re-Entry Program for Ex-Offend

Comments:

An organization in Mississippi will educate non-violence offenders and individuals with non-felony charges on computer and nursing classes, CDL driving license, etc. The ex-offenders will participate in the program for free. The purpose is to integrate these individuals in the society by increasing their self-esteem and job related skills.


Life Skills For Adulthood

Comments:

The organization will provide support to kids, aging out form the foster system. The board members of the nonprofit organization will work with these kids 5 days a week, applying different and interactive approach. Some of the workshops that the organization will provide will be: SuccessTalk, SuccessDress, SuccessCoach and InnerSuccess.


Orthodox Community Support

Comments:

An online bookstore will provide spiritual and religious books to the Orthodox Community in USA. The organization makes it easier for parishioners, church bookstores as well as those who don’t have access to such resources to get the spiritual food necessary to feed their needs.  The books will follow to one of the categories: Bibles and Bible commentary; Church and Liturgical; Marriage and Family life mission, Orthodoxy and Apologetics; and others.


Church Seminars

An organization, located in NC is dedicated to empowering church leaders and equipping Christ Followers through training, coaching and preaching. During the year, the organization will organize 3 seminars: MaxNet, Personalizing Your Journey Seminar and Global Focus Seminar. The seminars’ overall goal is to promote personal and local involvement in outreach services.

 

 


Uganda Food For Orphans

Comments:
There are many kids in Uganda (both girls and boys) who are lacking basic items of necessity such as food and clothing.  
This organization supports kids in orphanages in Uganda. Board members will typically make annual trips to the region and meet with local volunteers to ensure that programs are operating as expected.


Support to Marine Veterans

Comments:

A Georgia nonprofit organization will assist disabled marine veterans and their families of the 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion. The organization will provide financial assistance to the families when needed. The program will be publicized through medical facilities, veterans’ centers, community organizations and churches.


Meditation Classes

Comments:

The organization will promote spirituality through relaxation. The individuals will be taught various meditation techniques, how to develop the mental process for meditating, and conveyed how the mind works. The classes will be held 4 times a week and the program will take place in Boone, NC.


Services for the Elderly

Comments:
This organization provides support to the seniors.  The organization provides breakfast, lunch and meals for holidays.  The organization also provides social activities for seniors, including bingo and other social activities.
The organization sponsors health and safety fairs for seniors, providing free medical exams.  Informing seniors of safety tips offered by police and fire departments are also included in the senior events.


Historical Genealogy Society

This organizatin works with individuals and libraries, assisting individuals in genealogical research on family history.  The organization provides volunteers to assist one in studying his or her family tree and family heritage.
The organization also publishes books and printed material on researching one's family heritage.


Abused Women Support

Comments:

The organization will provide support to ladies who are emotionally and physically abused, coming from rehab centers and homeless shelters or trying to overcome other difficult situations in life. The women will have the chance to share their problems and seek support in each other.


Bengali Heritage Preservation

The organization, located in Georgia, will have several events a year that will focus on such things as cultural, seasonal and traditional aspects of Indian/Bengali Heritage. The organization is dedicated to promoting Bengali language, literature, art and preserve and pass on the rich and vibrant Bengali heritage among young second generation Bengali community in USA.


Counseling Services

The organization will provide counseling services to individuals and their families who are challenged with different situations in their lives. The counseling services will assist individuals through use of the Bible and other Christian counseling means.

A Youth Conference will take place once a year in Maricopa County, AZ to inspire, motivate and provide support to kids. The organization will promote educational services, leadership skills and good citizenship.           


Educational Services

The organization is dedicated to providing educational services within the field of tactics and operations in Police work of Brazoria County, TX.  The Program will encourage a high level of professional competence, cooperation and friendship establishment. 


Leadership, Relationship & Spi

The organization will teach and encourage the individuals how to choose and apply values with confidence. The organization will organize conferences on the following topics: Leadership, Relationship & Spirituality. The conferences will take place in Dallas, Fort Worth, Atlanta and Phoenix.


Feed the Homeless on Holidays

Comments:
Today's economic times are pushing more individuals out of their homes and into homeless shelters.  The Holidays can be especially hard on homeless individuals without a permanent home.

Our organization aims to at least bring these individuals some joy and a smile with a hot meal during Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter and other Holidays.  Eventually, the organization plans to offer more hot meals throughout the year.


Support Disabled Marines

Comments:
Organization provides financial assistance to disabled marine veterans and their families.  Organization provides financial support for medical, mortgage, utility, and auto repair bills. 

These veterans have served our country and deserve our support.  Support may range from $300 to $1,000 per family.


Support to Holocaust Survivors

Comments:

The organization will be conducting workshops, providing an aid to Holocaust survivors and their heirs in the United States. The educational outreach programs will be focused on Holocaust era assets, including the need for restitution of such assets. The source of these assets was Jewish property stolen during the Holocaust for which there were no successors and which, by the nature of things, ought to have been earmarked solely to help Holocaust survivors, and used it to finance national institutions serving the general public.


Eradication of Deforestations

Comments:

The organization is dedicated to educating individuals in rural areas of Mwonge Nithi, Kenya on the importance of stopping deforestation. Deforestation results in the destroying of trees, greenery and ultimately the animals (cows, sheep, horses and donkeys) in the area.
